Subdividing rural land- where do you start? Is it possible on your rural site?

Subdivision of rural land is very different to in residential areas- in most instances its restricted and you’ll need to meet certain criteria before you can even start investigating the actual physical subdivision works. Features of your site can also impact rural subdivision, both in a positive and negative way, and you should use a land development consultant with rural experience to manage the process for you.

These types of resource consent applications can be more complex, but not complying with rules doesn’t necessarily mean your project is high risk.
